My Weekend with Snuggie - True Fun Skull and Cross Bones Blanket

By jamesda1 · September 1, 2010 · 0 Comments · 75 Views

Last weekend was very chilly in New York... So much so, that I found it the perfect time to try out my new True Fun Skull and Bones blanket my friends over at Snuggie sent me.

I started walking along Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn and noticed the perfect spot to sit and study up on my marketing. I almost passed up the opportunity, but remebered I had a blanket in my book bag....

a blanket with sleeves!

Next, I was hungry so I decided to the market to pick up some fruit...

thankfully my Snuggie has pockets so I didn't even have to use a basket

Finally, I felt lonely so I decided to call home...

and my mom was happy to hear from me!

Drive safe my friends!

Do you have some fun pictures of yourself wearing a Snuggie? Check out the Snuggie Fanclub and submit your photos too!

This movie is going to be epic, and both Joaquin Pheonix and Casey Affleck were great to hang with!

By jamesda1 · August 16, 2010 · 0 Comments · 28 Views

On our last day in Jamaica, we decided to take a trip into Negril to check out the world famous Ricks Cafe and catch a beautiful Caribbean sunset.  I wish I had more time in paradise but like all good things, this trip too has to come to an end.

Until next time....

Relaxation! Trip to Jamaica - Day.... (lost track)

By jamesda1 · August 10, 2010 · 0 Comments · 34 Views

This trip has been amazing thus far! During day 3 we played some beach volleyball, had an hour long massage on the beach, enjoyed the lazy river on the resort and become locals at the swim up bar at the pool. Last night, Kara and I played in the Ideal Couples game, where we went against three other couples in a dance off.  For someone who can't dance, namely myself, we did a great job taking second place!

After spending a few days on the resort, we decided to take a guided tour, so we signed up for the Cool Runnings Dunn's River Fun Cruise! Our tour started out going to Crystal Cove for snorkeling over a coral reef, and then proceeded to Dunn's River Falls for an adventurous trip up the waterfall! It was great fun and I would reccomend it to anyone who comes to Jamaica!

Here are some more pictures from the trip:

Time for Discovery - Day 2 in Jamaica

By jamesda1 · August 9, 2010 · 0 Comments · 40 Views

Today was our first full day in Jamaica, and as such wanted to discover more about what the resort had to offer.  Waking up at a respectful 10:00 AM we decided to head to to the main buffet for breakfast.  The food was delicious and I enjoyed a ham and cheese omelet with french toast and fruit.

After breakfast, my girlfriend and I headed over to the water sports center where we grabbed some snorkeling gear and hit the water.  I didn't find Nemo, but we did see some friendly fish who followed us everywhere we went!  After we returned our snorkeling equipment, we walked off the resort to some shops that were on the beach.  All the vendors were happy to see us and asked us all to check out their shops, which contained beautiful hand carved wood masks, sculptures and paintings.

During lunchtime the resort offered a BBQ on the beach. The food was delicious and I ended up having jerk chicken, rice and beans and some fresh fruit.  After a long day on the beach we decided we needed some self indulgence, so we decided to check out the spa.   The spa was amazing, offering a large hot tub and saunas with hot or cold baths.  We decided that we needed to more self indulgence, so we made a reservation for the following day for massages on the beach.

Arrived in Paradise - Trip to Jamaica Day 1

By jamesda1 · August 8, 2010 · 0 Comments · 36 Views

We have arrived in Jamaica and in Caribbean culture fashion everyone gave the Captain a round of applause for a safe arrival! We took an airport shuttle to our airport, Iberostar Rose Hall Beach Suites Hotel and got a nice tour on the way.

When we arrived our rooms were not ready, so we walked around the resort and checked the place out. The resort has three different hotels connected, with access to four pools, a lazy river (which is really lazy) four restaurants, and endless entertainment!

This is going to be a great trip…

Cheers!

Men's Colonge for The Vicarious LifeStyle

By jamesda1 · July 31, 2010 · 0 Comments · 66 Views

When selecting the cologne you are going to wear for the day, take the extra time to ensure the aroma compliments your look.

If you are running around to meetings, try Giorgio Armani ACQUA DI GIO or Sean John Unforgivable which will keep you smelling fresh throughout the day. Apply to your entire body directly after the shower and let air dry.

For nighttime events or cocktail parties, try Dolce & Gabbana the one or Gucci by Gucci which offer a stronger more masculine smell and will help you stand out in the crowd. Apply to your entire body and rub into your neck and wrists.

Cologne does not react to everyone’s skin the same, so make sure to smell it both as it comes out the bottle, but also when it is dry on your skin.

Tell me, what are your favorite colognes to wear?

Fashion Tips for Men - Accessories on a Budget for Summer 2010

By jamesda1 · July 7, 2010 · 0 Comments · 60 Views

Most men are intimidated by fashion.  They don't know if they should start with a fresh pair of shoes and build their outfit up, or start with a crisp shirt and work their way down.  For me it doesn't matter where I start when picking out my outfit, as long as I finish with the perfect accessories.

This summer it's all about color to compliment your look. I like to wear affordable pieces that rotate depending on my outfit for the day. You can find many affordable watches, necklaces, wallets, socks and even scarves to give your basic outfit a much needed boost. Check out some of my favorite affordable summer accessories below!

To kick off the 4th of July my girlfriend and I went into Georgetown and had lunch at Tony and Joe's, a nice seafood restaurant on the waterfront.  After lunch, we walk around town and ended the day taking out a kayak on the Potomac River.  I was wearing a Rowdy t-shirt, Sean John shorts and Supra shoes.

Trip to the Bronx Zoo with vengeful minds

By jamesda1 · June 12, 2010 · 0 Comments · 104 Views

Looking back on my childhood, there are few memories that were more enjoyable then when my parents would take me to the Zoo.  So naturally when my girlfriend asked if I wanted to go this weekend, I was more than thrilled for the chance to act like a kid (not that I really need a reason) and see the Bronx Zoo for the first time!

Thinking about my outfit, I decided it was the perfect time to wear the elephant v neck my friends over at vengeful minds sent me last week.  This 100% organic cotton tee was so comfortable and was the perfecrt shirt for a warm spring day.  I paired it with some Abercrombie & Fitch cargos and my newly acquired Birkenstock sandels.  Check out some of my farvorie pictures from the afternoon, and enjoy the full album on my Facebook page.

Get Him To The Greek Screening in NYC - Staring Jonah Hill, Russell Brand and Sean Combs

By jamesda1 · May 28, 2010 · 1 Comment · 644 Views

Tonight I went to a VIP screening for Get Him to the Greek at the Magic Johnson Theatre, sponsored by Blue Flame.  In all honesty, it was by far the funniest movie I have seen in years, laughing from opening to the end credits.  The only movie I can even compare it to in recent years is the epic blockbuster, The Hangover.  In fact, the audience loved Get Him to the Greek so much, I really have to watch it again as it was hard to hear all the lines over the constant laughter coming from the theatre. The chemistry between Jonah Hill and Russell Brand was amazing, and Sean Combs was a shinning star with some of the best one-liners in the movie.

I had the privilege to be on set for some of the shooting of this film, working as Sean Combs assistant, and I am really proud of his performance as well as how funny the movie turned out. I recommend everyone to go see it on opening day, June 4th.
