Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol

By jamesda1 · December 15, 2011 · 0 Comments

Last night I attended an advanced screening for Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol in Los Angeles.

In the film, Tom Cruise (Ethan Hunt) and the IMF get shut down after being framed for an incident in the Kremlin, causing Ethan and his new team to go into ghost protocol and against all odds to stop a Nuclear War.

This movie delivered on action, special effects and an overall well written script. Brad Bird did a great job in directing and big ups to Tom Cruise, Jeremy Renner and Paula Patton on all strong performances.

For the car enthusiasts out there, I think you will really enjoy the BMW i8 which was recently revealed at the LA Auto Show and officially ranks at the top of my Christmas list this year! (hint, hint)

You can watch the trailer below and make sure to go watch Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol when it hits IMAX and theaters this Friday and nationwide on December 21st.

This movie is going to be epic, and both Joaquin Pheonix and Casey Affleck were great to hang with!

Get Him To The Greek Screening in NYC - Staring Jonah Hill, Russell Brand and Sean Combs

By jamesda1 · May 28, 2010 · 1 Comment

Tonight I went to a VIP screening for Get Him to the Greek at the Magic Johnson Theatre, sponsored by Blue Flame.  In all honesty, it was by far the funniest movie I have seen in years, laughing from opening to the end credits.  The only movie I can even compare it to in recent years is the epic blockbuster, The Hangover.  In fact, the audience loved Get Him to the Greek so much, I really have to watch it again as it was hard to hear all the lines over the constant laughter coming from the theatre. The chemistry between Jonah Hill and Russell Brand was amazing, and Sean Combs was a shinning star with some of the best one-liners in the movie.

I had the privilege to be on set for some of the shooting of this film, working as Sean Combs assistant, and I am really proud of his performance as well as how funny the movie turned out. I recommend everyone to go see it on opening day, June 4th.
